Adding An LED To The Breadboard And Blinking It

In the Introduction to the Arduino IDE blog post, we went over what the Arduino IDE is and how to upload a basic blink program. That program used the onboard LED. This time, let’s add two external LEDs to the breadboard and connect them to two of the Arduinos GPIO pins.

 

 

So we have pin D11 and D12 connected to LEDs.  Now if we make these pins HIGH (5V) the LEDs should light up.

Try changing the delays. Can you make the LEDs blink faster? What about slower ?
